Meet the new Canadian company focused on helping marijuana start-ups grow

Alex Blumenstein has worked in a number of business industries over the past few years. When Justin Trudeau was elected Prime Minister in 2016, Blumenstein saw opportunity with what he correctly predicted would become the next big industry: retail cannabis.

In 2017, Blumenstein worked to create the first cannabis business incubator called Leaf Forward. Now, one year later, cannabis has become legal across Canada and, according to Bloomberg, is a $31 billion industry nationwide. Leaf Forward has since been approached by numerous entrepreneurs looking to develop their ideas for the cannabis industry.

Leaf Forward now directly works with these companies, investing in them and training new business owners on how to grow in this new market.
