Unforeseen Trials Lindsay Smith
Life just wasn’t the same for Florence since one inevitable doctor’s appointment. After months of unexplained symptoms, multiple tests proved Florence her worst fears true. She was diagnosed with an illness that had no cure.
Multiple Sclerosis, an illness that affects the central nervous system, prevents information from flowing between the mind and body. With her emotions running high, Florence takes us back to the day of her diagnosis in 2013, when she was only 23 years old.
Her life unavoidably changed forever, Florence’s thoughts and emotions show us how she and her family struggle to adjust to her new lifestyle.
