Unforeseen Trials Lindsay Smith
For Daniel Haase, moving from Hamilton to downtown Toronto meant much more than packing up a suitcase and driving 70 kilometres away from home. It meant moving from practising drag in front of his bedroom mirror to performing in front of a packed bar on Church Street. Today, Daniel finds passion and opportunity in The Village where he can explore the art of drag performance and express the bold, confident person that had always been hiding in Hamilton’s shadows.
In Toronto, he can be himself. In front of an audience, he can be fearless. On stage, he is Violet Dreams.
